Description
KTH School of Architecture in Stockholm, Sweden The KTH Royal Institute of Technology School of Architecture was founded in 1877 and today offers architectural education at all levels, from a preparatory course in Architecture and Urban Planning in Tensta in northwestern Stockholm, to doctoral studies within the Swedish Research School in Architecture.There are currently around 550 students enrolled in the professional programmes at Basic and Advanced Level.
The school has a staff of around 120 teachers, professors and researchers, and 15 administrative and technical employees, It has a well-equipped model workshop, a digital fabrication lab and an extensive collection of books and journals in the KTH Library.
Since the autumn term of 2015, the KTH-A is housed in a new building on KTH Campus in central Stockholm, designed by KTH Alumni Tham & Videgård arkitekter.
