With a hit song called "substitute" written by Cindy Alter the lead vocalist of Clout that rocketed the band into the USA . Today song is known by millions around the world and even to this day Cindy Alter is still singing her heart out and her song "substitute "that got her where she is today !!! This year not only marks the 30th Anniversary of the Komatipoort Prawn Festival but also it is the first time we will be hosting the legendary South African rock band WONDERboom !!! We are looking forward to have these legends and seeing them do what they do best on our stage !!! .... Incase you have missed it !!! The Komatipoort Prawn Festival committee is big on conservation and if you missed our previous updates here are they again. Maholoholo will be at the Komatipoort Prawn Festival with their big star Bullet the Cheetah and some of his feathery friends , Bullet is a well known star at the show along with his friends that will be on display as their conservation show. Hazyview Elephant Sanctuary will be another attraction for the conservation Tent at the Prawn Festival with their slide show and educational talk about elephants , The Nelspruit venom Instatute will be showing off some of their slithery friends and educating the public on how they do what they do and lastly we will be hosting a anti Rhino Poaching unit that will be joined by their K9 members that will be displaying their skills and give you their background on what it's like as a anti poaching unit. These all are a must see for all !!!! ..... adults R10 entry and children R5 entry. All mines made here go to the four groups to help them with their cause. Private donations are welcome too !!!!

💥💥PRE FESTIVAL BEER TENT PARTY 💥💥 On Wednesday 28 June the Prawn Festival Beer Tent is hosting a pre Festival party for all who are wanting to dance the night away !!! Come join in the fun with DJ Chillifish who will be entertaining you on our dance floor in the Beer Tent at the show grounds . There will be a proper dance floor and DJ Chillifish will transforming the Beer Tent into a full on laser light spectacular !!!! 💥💥💥ENTRANCE IS FREE on this night into the grounds 💥💥💥 See you there !!!!
