The snow is coming! Late Saturday evening (15 July) into the early hours of Sunday morning (16 July) we will see a sizeable cold front make landfall in the Western Cape bringing with it weather conditions suitable for a nice snow dump over many parts of South Africa.

We may see snow of over 10cm on some of the mountain peaks of Ceres and the Worcester surrounds tomorrow. By Monday morning, all snow should have stopped falling. #ceres #snow

By lunchtime today, we expect snow to already have fallen over many of the high peaks of the Western Cape, which will continue on and off through the afternoon. Matroosberg is likely to get the most snow on its’ peak, with about 10cm expected there. So if you're in the area please stay warm!
