The newly-opened Bingo Royale Cleary Park provides just what the name says – a “royal experience,” according to Yolande Manuel, director of BOSS Gaming Eastern Cape.
Visitors to Bingo Royale Cleary Park have a visible “wow” experience the first time they pass through security and enter the premises.
A modern circular bar with a giant chandelier as its centre-piece sets the atmosphere.
“Our approach is to ensure that visitors enjoy a casino-like experience in the most up-market facility in the area.
“The colours of the lighting above the bar can be changed to match the mood or occasion of the day. So, for Valentine’s Day it will all be red,” says Manuel.
There is a stage in front of the bar for live entertainment.
The music is piped through the speaker system into the smoking area.
“With electronic-based play patrons can enjoy Bingo whenever the Bingo hall is open – rather than being restricted to specific time slots as they are in a more traditional Bingo operation.
“It is the popular way Bingo is being played all around the world,” she says.
There are 183 Bingo terminals on the floor.
“The word about the unique experience offered by Bingo Royale Cleary Park has spread so fast throughout Port Elizabeth that we will soon need to add more terminals to ensure that everybody continues to be treated like royalty,” he says.
Patrons can also dine like royalty at neighbouring Vinny’s restaurant, another first for the Northern Areas.
“The cosy restaurant is the place to meet friends or to have informal business meetings,” says Manuel.
Bingo Royale Cleary Park and Vinny’s are open from nine in the morning till late at night.
Entry is free.
The closest door is the one at the fast food outlets.
There is plenty of parking, as the centre has approximately 1400 parking bays.
Bingo Royale Cleary Park fully supports South Africa’s pioneering and internationally acknowledged National Responsible Gambling Programme (NRGP).
