4 years ago, exactly on this day, the first edition of Hole of Metal took place in Orehovlje under the name "Metalday". Within Destruction can probably tell you how it was. :) Let's make this year's edition unforgettable, together! Stay tuned for some free ticket's and band's stuff!!!

Guess who's the second headliner on the stage of Hole of the fucking Metal!?!?! One and only Metalsteel! They will sure teach you what is your religion and entertain you for some time! ~Bio Metalsteel is a Slovenian heavy metal institution with its own identity active since 2001. The band combines raw agression with melodic and progressive structures. Their striking metal is manifested on five albums including their latest most fierce and sophisticated release "This Is Your Revelation" which was mastered by Mika Jussila (Nightwish, Stratovarius, Children Of Bodom, Amorphis, Lordi, Apocalyptica) at Finnvox Studios in Helsinki, Finland. In their career they have played numerous shows in their country and also performed european tours with James Rivera (Helstar, Distant Thunder, Malice). They have also shared the stage with legendary metal acts Saxon, W.A.S.P., Helloween etc. "This Is Your Revelation" is the fifth album from the band. It pushes further the boundaries of the band and opens new chapter in their musical opus. All members of the band have recorded the album simultaneously, resulting in an organic sound that is consistently embedded into modern production. Metalsteel are combining raw aggression with melodic arrangements. This forms homogenous mixture of striking metal with progressive elements and guitar and vocal harmonies. "This Is Your Revelation" combines simplicity and technical perfection with the recording method rarely used these days and superb production.

Two more bands from the side of the Slovenian sea! CFH - Cowboys From Hell will keep the heat up after the headliner will finish with some metal evergreens and ŽižolaTH will kick your ass with, as they call it, Istra Core!

It's coming! EResia metalfest 2016 it's coming closer! It will take place in Résia, Italy 1. and 2. July. Some great bands are confirmed so if you don't have any plans yet, go check the fest out.

Another great band from Italy....HellMetAll! https://www.facebook.com/HellMetAll-221479841236612/?fref=ts The band was founded in 2010 by the guitarist Daniele and the drummer Gabriele. Since the beginning Filippo joins the band as bass player and they start to play some Slayer, Amon Amarth and Motorhead songs without know what will be their future. The first rehearsal room is a wooden shack far from the towns of the Resia valley, but unfortunately things changed: on March 27th, in 2011, the shack burns with all the instruments but the band’s desire of play and have fun were still alive. So after some months Mattia joins the band as violinist (typical instrument of resian folklore) and the band restart to play, in addition to the old covers, also some Korpiklaani songs and then began to write original songs. Then came in Andrea as rhythm guitarist and Marjan as vocalist with his black metal screaming so the band just completed can start to play live. There were some lineup changes in these years: Marjan now plays bass guitar too replacing Filippo and Nicola (sideman for some months); at the rhythm guitar Matteo, guitarist of Gravfält, replaces Andrea and his successor Sebastian.
