It was meant to be a 3 course sharing menu, but with all the little surprises I honestly lost count! Here are some of highlights starting with our top favourite #crayfish #pickledcarrots in a shellfish, carrot and coriander sauce, some surprise starters... #bacauhlau toasts, aged dried #ham #tunablackbean, #vealliverpate #fennelseed with 🍒 #venisonloin followed by #applesorbet apple with #fennel as a pallet cleanser and a dessert of what looks like boiled egg 🥚 in a nest- but luckily certainly didn’t taste like it 😊#opaparico #porto #deservesamichelinstar

I hate to be a tourist, but I love taking pictures of my wife taking pictures of food. Also, this was one of the best meals we’ve ever had. #hambolleshoneymoon

It all started being dropped off in an inconspicuous neighborhood, where supposedly one of the best restaurants around was...we climbed out of the taxi and said “where?” ...right in front of us, an old solid wood door with a door knocker on it....?!? So of course, we knocked. When the door opened, we were greeted and asked to come in(!) Never mind the gorgeous, big blocks of local granite walls, candlelight, incredible service (four, yes, 4 personal servers) warmth, and an humble yet proud group of shepherds take us on the authentic yet recreated gastronomic journey through Portugal. The best fine dining I’ve Ever had in my life. It left me with wonder and admiration and a signed chefs menu of tonight’s experience 🙏🏻🇵🇹❤️
