thanks everyone for turning out last thursday to support the charity fundraiser, we all had a great time and managed to raise € 540 for the charities. we're looking forward to doing it again, but hopefully not running out of food so early next time!! maybe another fundraiser for the bombeiros to get some new equipment before the fire season starts! stay tuned !! thanks again everyone, from Rita, Hamish and the green room team

ok guys, we've spent the last 3 days getting the food ready for tonight and i can now officially tell you it's looking amazing!! pork and clam alenteijano, made with the sweetest piece of marinated and slow cooked pork belly this side of the alenteijo. vegetarian lasagne made with homemade ratatouille and bechamel. our famous feijoada cooked with a dozen different types of goodness. fried poblano and polenta cakes. beetroot, walnut and feta salad with balsalmic dressing, arroz de tomates, and more!! €10 entry for all you can eat, €5 for kids, complimentary first drink on the house, and ALL of the proceeds going to the 4 designated charities. doors opening NOW!! ( 6 pm) and going all night!! see you all soon!!!

Charity Cookout, Surf experience birthday bash

In aid of of the surf experience's 25th birthday charity concert, the green room is going to host a benefit cookout, €10 entry ( €5 for children) with a complimentary welcome drink, with all of the proceeds going to the crowdfunding effort for the charity concert in may. Music from the dub pistols and frankie chavez will be playing, and the food will be an all you can eat buffet of some the green rooms tastier morsels, alongside a load of delicious homecooked soulfood from portugal and beyond. Doors open from 6 00. looking forward to seeing you all there!!

hey guys, this week the green room is gonna start opening 5 days a week, from tuesday till saturday, from 6 30. Also, we're going to run an event in colaboration with the surf experience this thursday, 2nd march, in support of their 25th birthday concert for charity. Starting at 6 00 we're going to be putting on a huge buffet of homecooked goodness for an all you can eat charity cookout. Entry is €10 a head with a complimentary welcome drink, bring the kids after school and they can eat for €5. All of the proceeds will be going to the crowdfunding effort for the benefit concert. The food will be a few of the good things from our menu, and a lot of other delicious soulfood from portugal and beyond. We'll be playing the tunes that are gonna be playing at the concert!
