Realização de Eventos The only way to contemplate the beautiful landscape of Coimbra by the river is on board of the iconic “O Basófias”.
“O Basófias” is a vessel that holds up to 60 passengers, and provides to its visitors a singular experience, in an exclusive way.
On a 50 minutes boat trip, you can admire all the river view monuments, such as the “University of Coimbra”, “Sé Velha”, “Almedina Tower”, “Santa Clara-a-Velha” and “Santa Clara-a-Nova” (among others), from the river.
This boat trip is also a privileged way to admire the medieval city´s architecture, as well as some recent contemporaneous architecture like the cork “Portugal Pavilion” building (attraction in Hannover Expo 2000 exhibition), “Pedro e Inês” and “Rainha Santa`s” bridges, and others.
If you are coming on an excursion group, you can also enjoy a dining experience with traditional Portuguese Cuisine. At the end of your meal (lunch or dinner) you can also enjoy what most represents the culture of this city – “Fado de Coimbra” Show.
