Erasmus Mundus at the University of Warsaw The Erasmus Mundus Action 1(A): Joint Master Programmes is based on high quality study programmes at master level awarded with recognised double, multiple or joint degrees. Joint programmes are designed and implemented by a consortium of European universities from at least 3 different countries. Scholarships / fellowships are open to higher education students and academics from all over the world.
The Erasmus Mundus Action 2 Erasmus Mundus Action 2, formerly called Erasmus Mundus External Cooperation Window, aims at better understanding and mutual enrichment between the European Union (plus EEA countries and recognised candidates for EU membership) and third countries by co-operation in the field of higher education. It promotes exchanges of persons (students, academic and administrative staff), knowledge and skills at higher education level.

MESSAGE FOR TG 3 FROM THE WESTERN BALKANS: Erasmus Mundus A2 Green-Tech offers two TG3 grants for undergraduate students who are nationals from Bosnia & Herzegovina (1 grant available) and from Kosovo* (1 grant available) and who are in particularly vulnerable situations (refugees, asylum seekers, indigenous population etc) and who wish to study up to 10 months in one of the European universities of our consortium (in Spain, Portugal, Italy, Germany, Poland, Slovenia, Bulgaria or Croatia). Who can apply? - SIGMA
This is to announce that in the coming days the 2nd Cohort within the project EMA2 SIGMA Agile will be opened. The call for applications will be very limited and will have the following restrictions: - ONLY TG 3 candidates from the eligible Western Balkan countries can apply. The definition and instructions regarding TG 3 have been published on SIGMA Agile project website: http://portal.uw.edu.pl/web/sigma/who-can-apply - In addition, candidates from 4 universities that were highly underrepresented in the 1st Cohort will be eligible: University of Vlora, Shkodra University, Dzemal Bijedic University of Mostar, University of Bihac. Any other TG 1 or TG 2 applications will be considered as ineligible. - Only approximately 6 scholarships can be granted. - The scholarships will be available for undergraduates, masters, doctorates and post-doctorates (no scholarships for staff). - Only Western Balkan candidates can apply (no scholarships for the EU). - No scholarships for full degree are available - the maximum duration is 1 year. -The University of Warsaw and Humboldt University will not participate in the 2nd Cohort, so the candidates will not be able to apply to these institutions. Just to remind that until February 22nd 2016 Erasmus Mundus A2 scholarship holders can submit their abstracts, if they are interested to take part in the interdisciplinary scientific conference for Erasmus Mundus Action 2 scholarship holders „Erasmus Mundus opens your minds” to be held at the University of Warsaw in April 2016. The purpose of this event is to facilitate an exchange of knowledge and experiences as well as present and promote academic achievements and scientific research of scholars from various study areas benefiting from the academic opportunities created by the Erasmus Mundus Action 2 programme at the UW. As both professors and students of all academic fields in humanities, social, natural and exact sciences are eligible and welcome, it is highly recommended to present a research topic in a clearly structured manner that can be understood by participants from various academic disciplines. Technical format: presentation Deadline for submitting abstracts: 22nd February 2016 Notification of abstract acceptance: 25th March 2016 Expected date of the conference: April 2016 The exact programme, time and venue of the conference will be announced in March 2016. Trwa nabór wniosków w ramach projektu Erasmus Mundus A2 EXPERTS, koordynowanego przez Uniwersytet w Getyndze. Studenci i pracownicy UW mogą ubiegać się o stypendia w partnerskich uczelniach azjatyckich jako tzw. grupa targetowa 2 (TG 2). Termin składania wniosków: 1 marca 2016. Szczegóły na stronie: www.expertsasia.eu Until March 1st 2016 it is still possible to apply for Erasmus Mundus A2 scholarships within the project EXPERTS, coordinated by the University of Goettingen. EU students and staff can apply to Asian partner universities, students and staff from the eligible Asian countries can apply to the EU partner universities. The call is open for TG 1 (partner universities), TG 2 (non-partner universities in the EU and in the eligible Asian countries) and TG 3 (vulnerable candidates from the eligible Asian countries).
