Coming to Rotterdam on the 6th of May! Zills technique workshop day with Nargis Coors! Having done the first Salimpour workshop, Nargis Events came to the realisation that there is a need for a technique class in playing the finger cymbals! Therefore, we organised this zills technique class especially for you! Give yourself the oppertunity to become a killer ziller! But bellydancers never just go on stage to only play the finger cymbals! That is why we organised the second workshop Folkloric Fusion. During this workshop you will be dancing and playing along with your zills. It is still possible to pursue the workshops separately, but we highly recommend to do it combined so your learning process will be more complete. Open to all levels in Bellydance! Zills technique workshop 11:00-13:00 Our total focus will be on the technical part of the cymbal playing. Learn how to play in different timings, different patterns, playing right hand dominant and left hand dominant. And finally how to get yourself moving around the room whilst playing your Zills. You will be given drills that you can take home for your own practice. There are so many options on how to play your instrument and Nargis is the ultimate teacher to teach you all of this! Folkloric Fusion workshop 14:00-16:00: Folkloric Fusion workshop as developed in Salimpour Format! This is the fun bit! You will learn so many dance movement steps, arm movements and travelling steps that you will be dazzled. You will be using all of the information that you’ll have learned in the first workshop, combining it with all the newly taught steps. We will be moving diagonally and in a straight line across the floor and the pace will be fast, all designed to get you in control when moving around! Location: Cuartito Azul Schoterbosstraat 17 3032CN Rotterdam Reachable with: Metro stop Rotterdam Centraal or trainstation Rotterdam Centraal. Also reachable with tram 25 with direction Schiebroek at stop Schiekade. You can also park around the building, but please keep in mind that you will have to pay for parking from 12:00. Date and time: Sunday 6th of May 2018 11:00-13:00 Zills Technique workshop- Bring zills!!!!! 14:00-16:00 Folkloric Fusion workshop- Bring zills!!!! What to bring: - Zills!!!!! -Yoga mat -Pen & paper -Balletshoes -Bottle of water -Snacks and lunch (especially handy if you’re following both workshops) *Please don’t wear hipscarfs with coins or bells and no skirts. Training pants and a sport shirt is more preferable. Price for enrollment: 1 workshop € 35,00 (2 hours) 2 workshops € 60,00 (4 hours) Early bird price for 1 workshop is €30,00 and attending both workshops €55,00 (Close date early bird discount 5 April).
