I apologize if I couldn't reply to some messages and comments but where I am, there is no electricity but other kind of connections :) If you also are on holidays, have a look at the thought below, I find it really true and useful. Greetings from Rila! "Doing nothing has never been the best way to rest. The best way is to change activity. And spiritual work is actually by its nature very different from all your usual activities. It is not like going to a building site, a factory or an office every day to earn a living – sometimes painfully – for yourself and your family. With spiritual work, it is a matter of developing the divine part of yourself , which in daily life is stifled and smothered by all kinds of obligations and worries. So the best kind of rest is to learn to bring order and harmony into yourself, allowing your divine nature to blossom in light and love, so that one day it becomes a power for good for the whole world." #Omraam Mikhaël Aïvanhov

If you can keep your head when all about you Are losing theirs and blaming it on you, If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you, But make allowance for their doubting too; If you can wait and not be tired by waiting, Or being lied about, don’t deal in lies, Or being hated, don’t give way to hating, And yet don’t look too good, nor talk too wise: If you can dream—and not make dreams your master; If you can think—and not make thoughts your aim; If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster And treat those two impostors just the same; If you can bear to hear the truth you’ve spoken Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools, Or watch the things you gave your life to, broken, And stoop and build ’em up with worn-out tools: If you can make one heap of all your winnings And risk it on one turn of pitch-and-toss, And lose, and start again at your beginnings And never breathe a word about your loss; If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew To serve your turn long after they are gone, And so hold on when there is nothing in you Except the Will which says to them: ‘Hold on!’ If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue, Or walk with Kings—nor lose the common touch, If neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you, If all men count with you, but none too much; If you can fill the unforgiving minute With sixty seconds’ worth of distance run, Yours is the Earth and everything that’s in it, And—which is more—you’ll be a Man, my son! "If someone says, ‘I am happy, because…’, well, just the fact that they give a reason for their happiness proves they do not possess true happiness. For true happiness is happiness without a cause. Yes, you are happy, and you don’t know why. You find it wonderful to be living, breathing, eating, speaking… Nothing has happened to you – no success, no gifts, no inheritance, no new love… What is making you happy is – for there is a reason all the same – a feeling that something from above has been added to everything you do, a spiritual element that does not even depend on you – like water pouring down from heaven and flowing through you. For most people happiness is linked to possessions: houses, money, decorations, glory… or else a husband, a wife, children. No, true happiness does not depend on any object, possession or person. It comes from above, and you are surprised to find yourself in a constant higher state of awareness. You are delighted, and you do not even know why. That is true happiness." Omraam Mikhael Aivanhov

“Atheism and agnosticism signify the rejection of certain images and concepts of God or of truth, which are historically conditioned and therefore inadequate. Atheism is a challenge to religion to purifiy its images and concepts and come nearer to the truth of divine mystery.” ~ Bede Griffiths

If you know how to observe nature, you will see that it continuously offers us ways to solve our problems. For example, how does an oyster make a pearl? First of all, a grain of sand falls into its shell, and this grain of sand is a problem, an irritant. ‘Oh', says the oyster, ‘how can I get rid of this? It is scratching me, it irritates me, what can I do?' It begins to think, it concentrates, it meditates! And one day it begins to secrete a special substance that envelops this irritating grain of sand in such a way that it becomes smooth, velvety and polished. And when it has succeeded, it is happy and says to itself: ‘I have overcome a difficulty, I have transformed it!' This is the lesson of the pearl oyster: it teaches you that by means of thought you can envelop your worries and frustrations in a luminous, iridescent substance, and in doing so you amass extraordinary riches within you. True spiritualists are those who know how to work on their problems and turn them into precious pearls. Omraam Mikhaël Aïvanhov
