Optika JAKI has been in service in Prizren/Kosovo for almost 20 years, since ’93. During this instance in Prizren - Optika JAKI have embarked on a journey from a more low-service provider through to a professional developed optician workshop, with a generous opportunity to other people to expand that knowledge as well.

To reach this goal, Optika JAKI meets with members of the ophthalmic community, also member of presently formed Opticians Association of Kosova to discuss and develop cooperative programs that will educate the public about the health services today's opticians provide and improve and increase the availability of eye and vision care to all.

Other cooperative efforts include public information programs to build public awareness of the need for routine and regular eye examinations of infants and young children, and enlighten population in this region, concerning eye conditions in different stages of age and concerns of not wearing vision correction accessories vs. advantages offered by quality eyewear.
