Peter Annegarn from VIA Don Bosco, was unanimously elected by all the members the new President of Don Bosco Network. Peter has a great experience of leadership as he is also the President for European Forum of National Laity Committees. Peter worked as well with DBN in the past when the Network was newly established. We wish Peter great success and inspiration in this new leadership task in supporting Don Bosco Mission worldwide.

Families in Korr are heavily affected by the life stock deaths due to extended drought.John Sambakar (first photo), studying in class 6, was in the FOR A taking care of the goats of the family for the past 3 weeks. He just returned on Saturday 22nd of April 2017. He lost 10 goats already and another 5 are about to die. If it does not rain even the remaining 15 goats of the family will die, then the family will have nothing for food for income. Adiforo (second photo) the RAIA girl whose 9 goats died and others are going to die if it does not rain. The other lady (on the second picture) is Luwayo whose 30 goats died and another 25 are very weak and can die in the coming days. Both these are from the village/ Manyatta (seen in the back ground) called Gabaneyo. There are many others in similar situation - Fr Luke
