Kerry Smith L.I.B.S.D,A.I.B.S.D is a Professional, Qualified Performing Arts Teacher offering exceptional,exciting classes in multiple venues in Co Wicklow Hello everyone! I have been a qualified teacher from the age of 21 when I obtained my Licentiate with Honours through the Irish Board of Speech and Drama. This qualifies me to be a Teacher, Adjudicator and Examiner. Performing is my passion and I always ensure that my classes are based on fun, positive, encouraging teaching whilst holding a high standard of performance and learning. I opened my own successful Stage School 'Spotlight Academy of Theatre Arts' also at the age of 21 which I ran for four fantastic years before fulfilling my dream of travelling Australia for two years. Now I'm back from travelling and am extremely excited to be back in the Performing World. I have taught Dance, Drama, Singing and Musical Theatre in many Performing Art Schools, Primary and Secondary schools throughout Co Wicklow. I have also directed and choreographed several shows throughout the region including choreographing 'Peter Pan' with Gorey Musical Society. I am very passionate about community and youth Dramatics, and regularly direct and choreograph performances with local groups including the very talented and enthusiastic Macra na Feirme. We qualified in the All Ireland Finals bringing home well-earned awards by the cast for our original and unique variety show. I have been fortunate to have performed in many exciting venues including The National Concert Hall, theatres in Buxton, UK with the fantastic company 'Festival Productions' and theatres in Australia. As well as weekly classes, I also offer the following;
- Private Wedding Dance classes
- Birthday Parties (details on exciting packages coming soon)
- Private tuition for the Irish Board of Speech and Drama syllabus where students can complete their examinations and Grades.
I am very excited to begin teaching in several renowned Academies beginning September 2015 and I am now enrolling for classes. Please see below for class times and venues.

4.15- 5.15pm- 7-9yrs
5.15-6.15pm- 10+ yrs
