Emerald is located in Waterford City and produces Fine Handcut Irish Crystal. For over two centuries, the skills and expertise of Irish artisans has been tantamount to the creation of superior hand-cut crystal.
The accomplishments of designers, glassblowers, mastercutters, sculptors and engravers have particularly evolved, during this period, throughout the city of Waterford.
In 2009 a group of Waterford artisans, dedicated to preserving traditional crystal making skills in the city, began working together.  Their combined experience in the crystal industry spans over three hundred years. Their facility, located in the city, has now become a creative hub for Waterford artisans; sharing ideas and workmanship to create a range of high quality crystal pieces, under the brand name of Emerald.

Emeralds gathering pattern represents the special bond when friends and families gather together. Deep blaze cuts enclosed in serves create prisms that diffuse the light and intensify its reflection. Between these candle flames swerves are rosettes, a combination of five wedge cuts representing families and friends gathered for a candlelit dinner or around the fire .This gathering 7.5" Votive comes with a candle and is designed and handcut in Ireland.
