Description
Cait & I is a contemporary design & craft shop in the heart of Sligo town filled with beautiful gifts looking for good homes. Opened in May 2016; Cait & I is run by sisters Kathleen and Tara McGowan who upped & left their jobs in early 2016 seeing a niche in Sligo town to bring funky and utterly gorgeous Irish design and craft together in their dream shop.
Tara has worked for many years in the arts, first in Berlin and on returning home, with Blue Raincoat Theatre Company and most recently The Model. Kathleen left a (secure and pensionable career!!) with the HSE in childcare to follow her passion for all things cool & crafty. Both balance their time between running Cait & I and children, dogs, cats & country living.
Cait & I is located on Market Cross in the heart of Sligo town. Market Cross is in the ‘Lady Erin Quarter’ of Sligo and is brimming with independent creative and family run business.
Cait & I stock a carefully selected range of Irish handmade goods including jewellery, ceramics, textiles, home-wares, art prints, stationery and add to this a few bits & bobs which we just couldn’t resist!
