Importation of premium quality special honeys from HUNgary to Ireland ("EIre"). This company has founded in order to import curative and special types honey types of the best quality from Hungary to Ireland. Our honeis are exclusively the types which are not yet produced or sold in the Irish market. For instance we do not sell ordinary nectar. The company’s main direction is to help people in conscious nutrition, eating healthy food from natural sources, preserving health in a natural way in the midst of growing burdens  on mental and physical well-being. For all this we are trying to provide an effective source by supplying special honey types of high fineness, rich in active agents.

We need bee-fields in proper soil, climate and among right circumstances.  Within the EU, Carpathian basin is a very special example for this. Its uniqueness is shown in the fact that certain honey types (for instance Acacia honey) can be collected in Europe only in the Carpathian basin. Within this territory Hungary is exclusively eligible for supplying and producing  good quality honey. Reasons are the following:

Hungary developed a centurial tradition of honey making. The relevant authority in Hungary, Hungarian Bee-keepers’ Accociation ( OMME, www.omme.hu) has been functioning at a very high professional standard for more than 150 years.
It maintains a very strict quality control among its registered bee-keepers.  They close each jar of honey with a security seal. The content of the jars is examined in laboratories. Each security seal has a unique number,  referring to and identifying the bee-keeper. So each jar can be tracked back to producer. OMME ’s requirements are far more strict than the concerning EU directives. The Hungarian law of agriculture uniquely forbids the usage of geneticly modified seeds and pesticides that are harmful to bees. These regulations have a positive effect to the quality of the honey. OMME has its own bee-healthcare which is unique in the world. Hungary has the highest relative densitiy of bees per hectar in Europe. Despite global bee extinction.

Utilizing the possibilites that come from this advantageous position, our main goal is to sell honey types only from the best possible quality. Indeed, we look for Europe’s best, cleanest honey that is the richest in active agents. For this reason we have set up very high  standards towards our honey suppliers. Our bee-keepers are generally fanatic, extraordinary people. They hold advanced professional knowledge and keep educating themselves. They apply up to date knowledge and technology. They produce a relatively wide selection of honey. They take a good care about choosing bee fields and approach quality rather than quantity. As a consequence of this we also had to give up on selling honeys of the same type in big quantities. We can not offer supplying big quantities in a continued order. But we do offer various special honey types in the best and quaranteed quality possible.

NEVER BUY so called "Hungarian honey" without this seal on the lid and the jar. Might be counterfeit! In the distribution of Hungarian honey the seal that was issued for the apiary by the Hungarian authority has a significant role. This seal guarantees the quality of the product for the official control of honey and the traceability by a six-digit identification number on it. On the original seal you can see the safety holographic logo of the Hungarian National Apiarian Association: A bee in the middle, and the name around in Hungarian: Országos Magyar Méhészeti Egyesület 1879. This holographic figure must be on the lid. The rest of the seal is not holographic, simple yellowish. On the red-white-green line, 5mm Beside the holographic part there is a 27mm x 6mm white box and the apiary's six-digit identification number printed in it. The apiary filled the jar is registered at the Hungarian National Apiarian Association, and received this number. The apiary can be checked on the Association's website by this number. There are two small golden coloured logos on both sides of the number in the white box, the same like on the top, but not holographic. The width of the seal is 15 mm all along, and the length of the holographic part is 30 mm on the lid.
