The Centre is within a short distance of Mullaghmore, one of the 'Signature Discovery Points' on Ireland's Wild Atlantic Way, famous for attracting surfers to it's 'big waves'.
There are plenty of activities within a 10 mile radius of the Centre for guests to enjoy.
The Centre accommodation is ideal for backpackers, couples, families, small and large groups up to 28/30. All rooms have ensuite facilities.
The Centre is also an ideal venue for groups, workshops, students (with hall available for classroom based activities), parties etc. Discounts available for whole centre bookings for 2 or more nights.

Art Exhibition by The Benwiskin Centre Art Group
Art classes have been running at The Benwiskin Centre for several years and as part of Ballintrillick Environmental Group's 25th Anniversary celebrations, The Benwiskin Centre Art Group are holding an Exhibition of their work at the Centre on Sunday, 11th June 2017. The Exhibition will be open from 2pm - 6pm at The Benwiskin Centre. Refreshments will be served. All welcome. The Art Exhibition is free but a nominal fee for refreshments would be welcome. 5k & 10k walks (Gleniff Horseshoe & Mullinfad) & Art Exhibition
5K & 10K WALKS & ART EXHIBITION To celebrate BEG’s 25th Anniversary, the group are organising walks around the Gleniff Horseshoe (10km) or Mullinfad (5km) on Sunday, 11th June 2017. Registration for both walks will take place at the Gleniff Barytes Milliste, Ballintrillick, Co. Sligo at 2pm and the walks will commence at 2.30pm. The registration fee is €5. All walkers will be issued with a 'Certificate of Participation'. Refreshments will be available back at The Benwiskin Centre AFTER the walks until approx 6pm. ART EXHIBITION The walks will coincide with The Benwiskin Centre Art Group’s Art Exhibition at the Centre also on Sunday, 11th June. The Exhibition will be open from 2pm - 6pm at The Benwiskin Centre. Refreshments served. All welcome. The Benwiskin Centre Summer Camp
The Benwiskin Centre Summer Camp will run from Monday, 24th July - Wednesday, 26th July 2017, from 10am - 2pm daily and is suitable for 5 - 12yr old children. Activities at Camp will include:- * Arts and crafts * Nature projects * Outdoor cooking The Summer Camp will be run by 12th Sligo Ballintrillick Scouts Group leaders, assisted by The Benwiskin Centre staff. Fees * €36 for 1 child * €33 each for 2 family members * €30 each for 3 family members To register, either call into the Centre, Monday - Friday 9am - 8pm, to complete the registration forms and pay a deposit of €20 per child or pay the deposit/s on line and we can email the forms to you. Places are limited so please call early to avoid disappointment.
