This was a lovely project. A lady wanted to use this old but beautiful chair her gran gave her. I upholstered the seat, painted it a soft cream and added a little flower.

This is a bedroom I transformed. Wallpapered the back wall. Painted the pine bed and locker cream. The wardrobe doors are painted a cool shade of blue.

Ah these are the White satin doors! The cream doors were pine doors on a built in unit. The colours are way more vibrant in real life.

This is an old kitchen I revamped and painted Snow Pea And a dresser from pine to 'Grey Nuance'

Rose Cottage Painted Furniture is expanding. I have added a new dimension to the business. I not only upcycle furniture but transform rooms. e.g ceilings, walls, skirting and doors painted to match. With many years of experience in interior decorating, I've decided to occasionally leave the studio and work outside the home. The children are bigger so I have time, I also love the challenge. Hi everyone, My next chalk paint workshop is on Sat 27th Aug from 10.30am to 4.30 pm Bring a piece of furniture eg chair, locker, small table. Learn how to paint it from beginning to end using chalk paint. Give it a unjque finish with the destressed look, some stencilling or the art of decoupage. We will spend an hour learning decoupage on an extra piece that you will bring home. Light lunch, tea and coffee included. Cost - €60 - all materials included - €45 - bring your own paint.
