**Report from our Heritage Officer, Ms. Nollaig Feeney on Celebrating World Wetlands Day in Castlecoote** Thanks to everyone who came along last Saturday morning, despite the rain, to celebrate World Wetlands day in Castlecoote. We had a great morning. Castlecoote Tidy Towns made us all very welcome and kept us safe on the road, Catherine Seale from the Water and Communities Office and Laura Gallaghar from the National Parks and Wildlife Service gave us great talks and lots of information on the birds & trees to be found around the river and lake, Castlecoote Lodge provided the much appreciated tea and biscuits to warm us all up after our walk. Thanks to Eileen Fahey for her great photographs. We are already looking forward to next years walk! Cllr. Orla Leyden
