In case you are ordering a riding hat for Christmas.. you need some details so here goes guys.. In 2016, hats bearing the EN 1384 standard only will not be allowed in AIRE Approved Riding Centres or in Irish Pony Club, AIRC or Eventing Ireland competitions throughout Ireland. From 1st January 2016, riding hats must have either: PAS 015 or Snell E2001 or ASTM F1163 or AS/NZS3838 2003 or VG1 01.040 2014-12. Back protectors should be marked 'level 3'.. Best of luck :-))

In case you are ordering a helmet for Christmas for your kids or indeed for yourself.. there are alot of great deals to be had on amazon etc.. However.. you need specifications on the safety requirements.. and so guys here it is..
