Here at Outdoor Oinks our pigs are free to ramble inside and out. This results in exceptionally flavoursome meat for you. You will taste the difference!! The O’Flaherty family have been farming pigs in Rathangan, Co. Kildare beside the Bog of Allen for 20 years. Our pigs are outdoor reared and we are part of the exclusive 1% of pig farms in Ireland rearing pigs in this manner.
Our Outdoor Oinks have plenty of space and fresh air rambling “snout and about” and our range includes rashers and sausages. Our pigs have been reared in the same way for generations and have plenty of space and fresh air that adds up to exceptionally flavourful pork and bacon for you with a distinctive taste of pure quality…. Outdoor awesomeness!!
We source wheat and barley from local farms and all our feed is made on our own family farm.
We start with good product and end with a great result. Our tasty meat is sweet, tender, moist and juicy with a beautiful consistency and good colour giving it a tremendous rich and wonderful flavour.
Our products carry the Bord Bia logo and also have DNA traceback showing that we do what we say, we say what we do and what's more.... we prove it!
