Little Buddies is a crèche/preschool in Portlaw, Co Waterford.
We provide care to wobblers, toddlers and preschool children. Free ECCE year available. Our aim at Little Buddies is provide the highest quality of childcare in Waterford where our kids can grow and develop at their own pace. Our kids are guided and encouraged to reach their full potential in a safe and nurturing environment. We apply this ethos to everything we do.
We have an array of outdoor facilities for your child's benefit including a large modern purpose-built playground, a petting farm and football pitch.
We can provide you full time, part time, afternoon and early morning care. We offer after-school care for primary school children, school collections and drop-off service to Portlaw and Ballyduff Primary Schools. We offer the ECCE scheme and CETS in our facility and provide pre-school services also.
We are registered with the HSE and comply with all regulations, we aim to exceed standards wherever possible.

Little Buddies will remain closed tomorrow (Tuesday) due to power cuts. Fingers crossed the electricity will be restored soon 😊
Parents, due to the uncertainty of this storm we are sending out an advisory that Little Buddies may be closed tomorrow, our regulations prohibit us from opening with no electricity, water or heat for our children. A decision is being made by the department this afternoon, we will update here and by text message of any news. Thank you for your patience! Hope everyone is staying safe ☺️
To ensure the safety of the children, parents and staff of Little Buddies we will be closed tomorrow due to Storm Ophelia. (A text has been sent to all those who should be attending tomorrow). We are sorry for any inconvenience but under the circumstances we feel it's better safe than sorry to close. We will reopen Tuesday as normal.
