It was with great sadness that we heard that our good friends Fergus & Susan Murphy's business the Derragarra Inn Butlersbridge Co. Cavan was extensively damaged by fire last weekend. We certainly know how you are both feeling right now. I think your situation is much worse than what we faced considering that this was not only your business but your home. If you have any further questions or need advice - we are only a phone call away.

Week 11 has seen great changes to the restaurant and the kitchen - which will transform next week once the Pvc sheeting is applied. We'll keep you posted!

We have completed Week 9 of Project Andy's and there has been brilliant progress. The design team have come up with some very exciting plans for the restaurant- our customers can look forward to some huge changes and special touches. The electrical and plumbing is well underway. This week, we unleash our secret weapon- introducing "Bobby the Builder"- he has assured us we will open on target for the 12th of July 2016!! Regards, Kevin, (and Bobby!)

Week 8 over and things are starting to move forward at a great pace. The building is roofed and our solar panels are back. We were looking at new equipment for the kitchen. Some mighty impressive stuff out there.

As week 5 draws to a close I though we had finished the demolition .... The bar has now been taken away. So it really will be a new look Andys in the summer! The putting back has started - the roof is well underway.

Week Four The demolition now complete 17 twenty ton roll on skips have cleared the site. The scaffolding is now in place and work commences on the new roof on Monday morning.

It's now week two and the demolition work is will underway. Over 150 cubic meters of waste have been removed from the site already. We will keep you updated with the progress. We expect to reopen in the summer of 2016. PS despite the speculation (and hope in some cases) we won't be relocating to any other site in town. This site is keeping us busy enough!
