Embarking on the teaching career path is a major step! Your experience as a student will probably be very different to the experience of teaching. Over the next few weeks, it would be very beneficial for any potential PME applicants to make contact with their local second level school and find out if there might be an opportunity to shadow and observe some of the DCG, Construction Studies or Engineering / Technology teachers for a few days.
