Gardai have confirmed that the M7 is now fully operational this morning and all lanes are open and operating as normal. However, gardai are also advising motorists to drive with care and observe speed restrictions that are in place due to current works on the M7. Minister for Transport, Tourism & Sport Shane Ross has confirmed that advice to avoid N7 at Naas (J8-10 northbound) during peak travel times has been lifted. The motorway at Naas has two working lanes. However, there remains need for extreme caution. “As there are narrower lanes due to roadworks,” he said, “I would ask motorists to observe the 60k/m speed limit and watch for possible water on the road. Above all, reduce speed and stay safe.”
