Description
A Men's Shed is any community-based, non-commercial organisation which is open to all men. The Kinsale Men's Shed was set up with the purpose of supporting the well being of Men of the community.
The KMS is part of a national organisation called the Irish Men's Shed Association and represents the collective issues of the Men of Kinsale and surrounding areas.
We will work towards a future where all men have the opportunity to improve and maintain their health and well-being by participating in a community such as a Men’s Shed.
We are a grassroots organisation and we base our actions directly as a response to the needs, as expressed by the Men of the Sheds, so that we can make it is as easy as possible for any group of men to set up and run a the shed.
We aim to provide a safe working and social environment for Men of all ages provided they are 18 or over.

Our esteemed Chairman, Tom Quigley... Quigley (Kinsale, Glasheen and late of Wexford) on October 9th 2016 surrounded by his loving family at his home in Lower O'Connell St., Thomas (Tom) (late of An Garda Siochana) beloved husband of Chrissie (nee O'Mullane), (Mourne Abbey) and dear father of Frank, Brian, Sinead, Aedin, Colm and Cian. Sadly missed by his loving wife, family, daughters-in-law Mary, Tina, Aisling and Una, son-in-law James, grandchildren, brothers-in-law Paddy and Teddy, Goddaughter, relatives and many friends. Lying in repose at his home on Tuesday from 6pm, followed by removal at 8pm to St. John the Baptist Church, Kinsale. Requiem Mass on Wednesday at 11am followed by Private Cremation at The Island Crematorium. Family flowers only, donations in lieu to Marymount Hospice. May he rest in peace. Note: A Book of condolence will be open at the Men's Shed tomorrow Tues 5 to 7.30pm and Friday 10am to 5pm. For anyone wishing to sign...
