Rainey Architects was established in Kinsale, in 1992.The firm emphasis has returned to a smaller, specialising in individual houses and retail units. Rainey Architects was established in Kinsale, Co. Cork in 1992.
After several very successful years during the 'boom' times, as a medium sized practice, the practice has now reduced in size adapting to current market conditions.
The main work load in the office has been residential projects in the form of apartment schemes and housing estates (ranging from 6 units to 600 units).
During the 'boom' period the office was able to expand allowing us to get involved in larger mixed use developments in Cork City. Rainey Architects have wide experience and knowledge in retail, commercial, industrial, office and hotel projects. The emphasis now has returned to a smaller, more personalised office, specialising in individual houses, nursing homes and smaller commercial projects.
Sketch-up and Revit Software are used for computer visualisation and photomontages. We also produce physical models and 3d watercolour perspective illustrations.
