facebook.comCLASSES OVER MID-TERM Grúpa Cheoil (including Scór /Sult groups) have class on Monday. Piano students doing Exams this Easter also have class as usual Mon, Tue, Wed. All other classes are off until Feb 19th.
A lovely little group travelled to Fèile Feabhra in Lixnaw to compete - most of them for the first time. Aideen, Tomás, Jack, Sadhbh and Ellen all played very well and did themselves proud in front of a big crowd. They even came home with a bunch of medals. (Two firsts, two seconds and three thirds). 😊🎻🎤
Happy Christmas everyone. See you all again in the New Year. Classes restart from Tue Jan 9th.
Well done to the fiddle, accordion and whistle students who took part in the Advent Mass last Sunday.
Big thanks to Micheál ó Céilleachair and Niamh Dalton for coming to Killorglin last weekend to deliver a workshop to our accordion and concertina students. All the feedback afterwards was very positive and we all got to hear some very fine playing indeed.
Lovely night on Friday at the Comhaltas Oíche Cheoil. Well done to everyone who got up and performed. You all did a fantastic job. Sorry about the quality of the photos. Think I'll put a new phone on my Santa list !
Grúpa Cheoil starts this Friday for U13's.
The Oíche Cheoil will now be going ahead on Friday Nov 24th.
