Iphone 5 to Rose-Gold Iphone 6 Style Case Conversion Project - FINAL Images So the conversion took a little bit longer than expected - some minor issues with some of the screw holes inside the case - but nothing that a little bit of Dremel Multi-tool couldn't sort out - Customer extremely happy with end-result Will definitely start offering this as a service for anyone that is interested -

Iphone 5 Conversion Project Ok, so got the phone stripped last night - all the internal circuitry, main board, camera, wifi/bluetooth, power buttons, speaker and mic, charging port and battery need to be transferred to the new case. - Some issues with the Power button and the front camera housing and flash mechanism - - Reassembly and final images to follow this evening.

Iphone 5 Conversion Project Was approached about doing a custom conversion from a standard Space Grey Iphone 5 ( Screen was smashed to bits and the case was in pretty bad shape. The plan was to convert to a Rose Gold Iphone 6 Style case with a new white screen - Pretty time consuming job, but happy to go ahead - will keep this post updated in the coming days.

Water Damaged Iphone 5C - UPDATE!! So managed to get the phone resuscitated - the Silica Gel definitely saved the day - if you don't have little packs of this to hand, then rice makes a close substitute Replaced the screen and everything checked out and tested ok. If your handset gets dropped or submerged in water take the following steps to increase the likelihood of a successful recovery ● Do NOT attempt to turn the phone on - ● Remove the battery if possible - ● Put the phone in a Tupperware box full of rice ● Get the handset looked at by a professional.
