Mercury Engineering is once again taking part in the annual SVP Toy / Food Appeal. We’ve been involved in this campaign for the past number of years and the support to date has been fantastic. We'll be collecting Toys & Food across all of our sites and in our Sandyford Head Office so if you want to make a contribution please drop off your gifts to your Site Administrator or to the HR department. Alternatively, if you would prefer to donate cash, HR will be organising toy and food shops over the coming weeks. For more information and gift ideas: https://www.mercuryeng.com/2017/11/20/toy-food-appeal-2017/

A photo reel and time-lapse of the Chiller lift carried out on one of our London Datacentre projects as documented by Niall Mullet. The lift lasted from Friday night right through until Saturday night. According to Niall "A challenging lift on a Friday night executed to plan, safely, involving one 700 tonne crane one 140 tonne crane hi-ab and lighting. All piping and cable ladder also now on the roof. Great credit to the Mercury Team Sean Mylett, John Byrne, Joseph Morrin, John O'Shea, Tom Joyce, Tommy O'Dowd and Thomas Belton who were there throughout and involved in the planning." https://vimeo.com/242714968

#womeninconstruction The Women In Trades Network Ireland (WITNI) figure it's time to change the scenery for women who have an interest in skilled trades. Those who are perhaps already one of the less than 5% working on construction sites in Ireland or the women who consider learning to use tools. For work or hobby, the desire is similar. To be able to follow the passion provides great satisfaction for many across the globe. WITNI is where you can ask questions and be exposed to stories from professionals and apprentices within the industry. Where you can discover more about training and employment options that currently exist... Do yourself a favour and go to https://www.witni.ie/ @passthewrench
