Animation Dingle is a major component of the Dingle International Film Festival, running jointly alongside the main event for the last 3 years, now established as a core component of its screenings, speakers and activities.

Animation Dingle will start the search for the 'Young Animator of the Year' from across Ireland and Northern Ireland again this autumn. Donal Cotter, Mount Temple, Clontarf, Dublin 3 and Kelly McCarvill, St. Joseph's College, Lucan, Co. Dublin were crowned overall winners at the 2017 festival. Next year, could you, or someone you know, be the winner. The competition is open to TY, 4th, 5th, 6th Years in Ireland and Yr 11, Yr 12 and 6th form students in Northern Ireland.
