My camera takes me all around the country and yesterday it took me to beautiful Killarney where I met this little stunner named Annabelle.

Just created this poster today as I've had to push a few shoots back due to the fantastic weather we've been having lately. I'm super happy with the way this came out as it started as a mess around and bit by bit ideas started coming to me as I was creating it. I'll be getting this one framed for sure. If you look closely you can see an update to my last poster (The Storm 2) where I added a barn being ripped apart by the tornado which took a long while to get right. Looking forward to getting back to doing some shoots soon (it's 39 days to summer!). As always if you like this work please give it a share as Facebook has changed it's algorithms so that you see more from friends and less from businesses. Thanks a million.

I know I said I wouldn't be sharing this type of work here anymore but.... this is definitely the last one. I shot the basic background for this out the Killarney Road and went from there. The first ever poster I made was called The Storm and I've been wanting to make a "sequl" to it for awhile now. The first question people may have when looking at this is... how can a war machine help fight a storm? Well the idea for the poster is that it's set in the future, humanity is down in numbers from the last storm (which was ten years ago approximately), and we've been at war with alien visitors, hence the robot here. Maybe the aliens cause the storms who knows? The scene here is that the guy was trying to repair the robot when the storm arrives. So yep... that's how deep the rabbit hole goes in my brain when I create these. That's me in the poster, and I actually put my t-shirt in the shower before shooting this to add to the effect of standing in a storm. The robot was designed by a fantastic artist on Deviant Art called Artreferencesource. If you like this please give it a share as Facebook has made it harder for businesses to appear on peoples news feed.

Hi all, just to let you know I’ve set up a new Instagram account for my movie poster/composite work as I feel it confuses potential clients when I post it here seeing as I don’t offer it as a service anymore. So if you like these sort of images please give me a follow there, my user name is @images_by_finbarr. Also, just to let you know Facebook is changing so that you see more content from friends, and less content from businesses. If you want to stay up to date with this page, please hit the “Following” button on my page, then click “See First”. Thanks.

I just spent the last few hours creating this in the office as I need some new artwork around the house. The Shining is one of my favourite movies and I always felt Lloyd the bar man was over looked (fans of the film will know what I did there) for his performance. Looking forward to getting this one framed. I also have an idea for a completely original poster which I hope to shoot and finish this week if all goes well. As I’ve mentioned I don’t do these for clients anymore but I still get the urge to create them every once in awhile.

I want to say a huge thanks to Jennifer, Mick and Scottie for letting me photograph them yesterday in beautiful Doneraile Wildlife Park. I'd a great time and we captured some lovely images.

I took delivery of some canvases of my work lately as I’m doing the place up. Really happy with the way these came out and I’ve more art work on the way which I’ll share once it’s framed. If you’ve been lucky enough to work with a good photographer please PRINT YOUR PICTURES... As I always say it’s what makes a house a home.

Delighted to see my work on the front of H.A.R.T’s 2018 calendar which is available in Acorn Veterinary Clinic (and many other places in Cork) for just €8. I remember photographing little Arlo here, he was a joy to shoot and loved his rubs. Delighted to see he has found a loving home in Sweden. Please pick up a calendar to support our furry pals as they give us much more than we can ever give them.
