I'm so excited to announce and introduce our amazing new singing teacher Orla Palliser kehoe 😀 I feel blessed that Orla is coming on board !! Our students had the pleasure of working with Orla this year in preparation for Feis and we cannot wait to work with her full time !! Her expertise and knowledge will hugely enhance our school.... apart from her brilliance... she's really lovely ❤️ These classes will take place on Saturday mornings in the firkin and most places are already booked so please contact me if you wish to partake . Today I had the privilege of bidding a sad goodbye to the master of cork theatre Mr Michael Twomey ❤️ a true gentleman , a gifted director and tour de force on the Cork theatre scene .... if it wasn't for Michael , then my path may have been different!! Michael gave me my first ever professional job on the Jury's Cabarets... way back when I was 14 years old and I subsequently played ' principle girl ' in many of his brilliantly directed pantomimes in the Opera House and the Everyman palace theatre . I feel honoured that he saw something in me worth pursuing ❤️ I feel blessed to have known and worked with such a phenomenal energy and vision . Michael has left an indelible mark on our beautiful city and I feel blessed to have experienced just a glimpse of that ❤️ Our deepest sympathies to his beautiful family 😊 Michael Twomey... we salute your brilliance and genius and we wish for you to RIP xxxx
