Tomorrow Wednesday 7th club night will start at 8pm with only one court available. Due to bad weather last week a match needs to be played to meet deadlines on court 2.

WHR hosted the Leinster Feb B closed last weekend where we had a good field from Balto with Zarah Pender grabbing the Silver in the girls Under 11 Singles. She then paired up with sister Amira to again win Silver in the Girls Doubles. In the boys under 13 singles plate Cody Fagan finished in the Silver position too. The girls under 13 plate title was won by Tanisha Daly Danne. Great progress being made and credit to coach Jennie, mams and dads and Remember keep up the good work !!!

SWL Declan Casey U17 cup 2018 Silver medalists !!! After a gruelling schedule, this great team came through, Killoughey, 6/0 , Johnswell 5/1 and Naas 5/1 to set up a great semi with Rathmore, where they emerged 4/2 winners. All which lead to a great Final V Ballinabranna which was a tight tense affair resulting in 3 games each but the Carlow outfit emerged winners by 1 set ☹️. Well done to our crew 3rd last year 2nd this year so maybe next year , Eoghan Cooney, Anna Cooney, Adam Daynes, Ella Parke, James Fleming, Kamille Stankeviciute, Ellen Berney today in Vicarstown.

The super back to back has been done in a pulsating 4-4, 23 ace win by Baltinglass last night in the grade 3 league final v Kilcullen. Ray Dalton, Nigel Fenton, Alastor Moody, Joe Dalton, Shauna Dooley, Siobhan Willis, Norrie Gilchrist and Aine Moody. Well done to hosts Athy,the SWL and the ever sporting great crew of Kilcullen.

Super weekend in Lisburn for the under 13 Nationals . National titles are very hard won at any age but this young man did his club very proud by winning 3!!. Eoghan Cooney 2018 Under 13 National Singles / Doubles and mixed title winner !!!! Well done to Siofra Flynn his mixed doubles partner and Jack Hickey his doubles partner pictured below . Siofra also did the treble of titles .

2018 Celtic Challenge team silver medalists to Scotland, with Ulster and Wales bringing in 3rd and 4th. Shonagh Murphy, Ashlinn Murtagh, Saumya Kothiyal, Eva Bogloskovia, Neassa Flynn, Siofra Flynn, Coach Kirsty Kelly, Senan o Rourke, Fionn Dowling, Eoghan Cooney, James Fleming, Robbie Frost and Jack Bridgman.

Well done to Our two Balto team players, part of the Leinster 2018 Celtic Challenge team whom achieved the silver medal by just losing 8/7 to Lothian (Scotland), after securing two great wins 11/4 each over Wales and Alpha (Ulster).
