本課程旨在教授學生廣泛之相關學術知識、專業技能和管理技巧，讓畢業生能對食物、營養和健康食品監控運作可深入瞭解, 以及食品業營運及管理, 課程內容包括食品科技、法例及測檢和安全; 營養評估、膳食及餐單設計、營養及健康推廣; 食品行業監控和健康食品研發; 以及品質管理等。課程還著重通識教育、語文訓練、全人發展和職場工作體驗，強化學生畢業後繼續升學或就業作更佳培訓及裝備。
This programme aims to provide students with comprehensive training with a broad knowledge and practical skills on the links between food, nutrition and health food management. It covers a spectrum of modules relating to food technology, legislation, testing and safety, in addition with the nutritional assessment, menu and diet planning, nutrition and health promotion; food quality audit, health food product management and product development; and food quality management. This programme is also well designed with an emphasis on generic and language training, whole-person development and workplace experience to better prepare students for further studies and employment after graduation.
