This programme provides participants with knowledge to produce professional quality image and provides critical skills in commercial photography. OBJECTIVES
Upon completion of the programme, students should be able to:
•   Master the techniques in taking photos by using mechanical and electronic cameras as well as computer imaging;
•   Explore mechanical and electronic techniques in both photo and film developing and editing;
•   Develop mechanical and electronic abilities in images recreation and appreciation;
•   Investigate the application of visual elements and design principles in photo composition;
•   Explore practical photography technical skills in commercial photography, including wedding, fashion, portraiture, architectural, landscape and experimental photography.

Graduates of DA009 Professional Diploma in Commercial Photography may apply for articulation to Year 3 of Middlesex University's BA(Hons) Photography (study at Middlesex's UK campus). Applications to Middlesex shall be processed by Middlesex University's East Asia Regional Office - Hong Kong.
