Our oceans, our future! The main focus of the world ocean day 2017 is on plastic pollution prevention and cleaning the ocean of marine litter. Freudenberg Far Easter Spunweb anticipated this day in May: School classes from poorer regional regions has been invited to the Taiwanese beach to learn about coral reefs. Connecting People to Nature, this is the theme for World Environment Day 2017. Get outdoors and into nature, to appreciate its beauty and its importance, and to take forward the call to protect the Earth that we share. In Taiwan, Freudenberg Far Eastern Spunweb Company invited school classes from poorer regions to join the company for one day to explore nature at the Taiwanese beach. This year, round about 100 pupils learnt about a coral reef. Together with the Freudenberg employees they collected trash at the beach.
