A special tribute show to Frida’s music from singer Anna Bromee will open in Frida’s hometown of Torshälla on March 28. The show is called ‘En Frid(a) För Själen which in Swedish means ‘A Peace For The Soul’ and if you add the (a) it also means ‘A Frida For The Soul’. The show opens at Sagasalongen where Frida used to watch films as a kid including the Elvis movie "Jailhouse Rock" that inspired her to pursue a career in music. After that it will go on tour in Sweden, starting April 3 - 7 in Gothenburg at Göteborgs Stadsteater. Anders Hanser's documentary, ‘Benny Andersson & Orsa spelmän 30 år’ (Benny Andersson & Orsa spelmän’s 30 Years) premieres at Röda Kvarn cinema in Orsa next Sunday. In an interview with Dala Demokraten (http://www.dalademokraten.se/dalarna/orsa/ossmol-orsa-spelman-och-benny-andersson-pa-vita-duken-i-orsa), Anders Hanser tells how Orsa Spelmän and Benny met at his 40th birthday party in Orsa. As we know, the meeting led to a collaboration that continues to this day. The musicians met and rehearsed many times at Hanser's summer house and he filmed them and some of the first concerts as well. Material from these first steps is included in the film. During the last year, Anders Hanser has interviewed Orsa Spelmän members for the documentary - and, of course, Benny about his relation to the accordion and folk music. Anders got the idea for the documentary film three years ago when he went through the tape archive of his company and realised there was a goldmine of unpublished material. Special thanks to Pentti Koponen.

Exciting news ahead, posted by ABBA The Museum today. Five years after the opening of the museum, a new exhibition about the group’s members will be opened at ABBA The Museum in Stockholm depicting everything that happened after their years in ABBA where you are taken on a journey through the decades of music focusing on Anni-Frid, Björn, Benny and Agnetha. The exhibition opens officially on 8 May 2018. - Anything can happen – and has happened – when creativity is allowed to flow. The new exhibition will be full of gems, says Anni-Frid Lyngstad - Because we pushed our creativity in so many directions after the ABBA years, I think the new exhibition is like a wonderful amusement park. And the most fantastic thing of all is that the journey never ends. We are on our way into a new, exciting adventure, there is more to come!, says Björn Ulvaeus - We never really bade farewell to one another. We wanted to try new things, and the time never seemed right for a reunion. Yet the music has, of course, never left me. Much of what we achieved during the years after ABBA is now presented in the exhibition, says Benny Andersson - The ABBA story did not end in 1982. One thing led to another, and the journey continued. We now see that in this exhibition, says Agnetha Fältskog
