open on appointment / Mail: info@bsmnt.info BSMNT is a non-commercial art space founded in May 2014 by artist Ronny Szillo, sited in a cellar on the grounds of the Spinnerei in Leipzig. BSMNT specializes in the digital arts, and focuses on exhibiting video works, as well as artworks in GIF or JPEG format. It has more than 100 m2 of space where solo as well as group exhibitions can be presented on numerous flat screens. The start dates and running times of the exhibitions are synchronised with those of the neighbouring commercial art galleries. All exhibitions may be viewed on request.
BSMNT ist ein nicht kommerzieller Kunstraum, der im Mai 2014 von dem Leipziger Künstler Ronny Szillo in einem Kellerraum auf dem Gelände der Baumwollspinnerei ins Leben gerufen wurde. BSMNT ist auf digitale Kunst spezialisiert, es werden vorwiegend Videos gezeigt sowie Arbeiten im GIF- und JPEG-Format. In dem über 100 m2 großen Raum werden diese Ausstellungen auf mehreren Flachbildschirmen als Solo- und Gruppenshows präsentiert. Termine und Dauer der jeweiligen Ausstellungen orientieren sich an denen der ansässigen kommerziellen Galerien. Ihre Besichtigung ist nur nach Vereinbarung möglich.
