ACL-Lichttechnik GmbH has amended its QR3 LED downlight reflector series by five new models to be used with LED modules with LES diameters of 14.5mm to 15mm. These five high-quality reflectors ideally complement the already existing QR3 models for use with LED modules with LES diameters of 19mm to 23mm. The QR7 reflector series comprises two semi-specular models with highest light output ratios and precise and uniform light distributions guaranteeing a homogenous light. The overall diameters are 160 and 195mm. The specially shaped light input opening is optimally suited for use with LED modules with LES 19 and 23. It's two years ago now that ACL-Lichttechnik GmbH has started with the design of downlight reflectors for LED modules. Since that point of time ACL has launched four series with different technical concepts.The main characteristic of the QR3 family is its very special trumped-shaped contour guaranteeing both low glare and wide beam spreads. The QR3square family is based on the same concept. The concept behind the QR5 reflector family is a three piece reflector-diffusor-combination delivering a wide and very smooth light distribution. Finally, the QR7 reflector family comprises parabolically-shaped sandblasted reflectors with a very homogeneous light output. All models of the four reflector families are ideally suited for many general lighting applications like corridors, service areas, lobbies, lounges, hotels, restaurants, offices, changing rooms, reception areas and waiting rooms.
