Congrats to our partner Engineers without borders and the cooperating locals in Iyolwa! The sanitary and drinking water system for the Iyolwa Secondary School is complete and running. After three months of hard work and construction on site the new water filter and storage system is finished. TOOLS FOR LIFE FOUNDATION

We've just heard from Mathis Brinkmann, who is working as English teacher in Yumbo, Colombia. He takes part in the development volunteer service "weltwärts" that was founded in 2008 by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ). Last Friday, September 30, our two ROTHENBERGER colleagues arrived in Iyolwa together with part of the Engineers Without Borders team. On October 1 they joined the construction team to work on the outer walls of the building that will hold the new water filter and storage system. The first walls are already layed with hand-made ISSB stones. They are the winners of our TOOLS FOR LIFE "Your commitment" campaign 2016, taking off for Uganda right now to support one of our projects on site for the coming 9 days. Lotus Children's Centre | Helping vulnerable children in Mongolia

Public Lectures: Frankfurt UAS

We are looking forward to a very interesting speech this afternoon. A professor who had to flee his home country and arrived in Germany in 2014 will report about "Integration out of the perspective of a refugee". This lecture is part of this year's Summer School program of the Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences. Since 2014 TOOLS FOR LIFE has been sponsoring this "Studium generale".
