The DP 1 students recently engaged in an exciting interdisciplinary activity with Theory of Knowledge (TOK), Creativity, Action and Service (CAS) and Art class. This followed a guest lecture in TOK from DP Art teacher, Ms. Gill Hunter where she engaged students in a discussion of the history and value of graffiti art. Questioning… is it art? And how? In an effort to get students to experience art, especially those that do not take art class, the students created groups, planned and created their own graffiti art works.

There is always something very special about the Strothoff International School Cultural Celebration Concert, it's a chance for students to show how much they have achieved and also a chance for parents to admire the well planned piece of entertainment. A real highlight of the concert was the last song - a suprise for us all. 'I am a Small Part of the World.' This song reperesented what the concert was about. ''Hand- in-hand, through working together, we can achieve wonderful things." A big thank you to Ms. Shim for her hard work and dedication!
