On 25th of December, the second day of Christmas, a team of 11 helpers from ASB Bad Windsheim drove to Augsburg to replace a rapid deployment team after explosive materials were found inside the city a few days before. Our task was to take over the care center in Augsburg Messe where there were about 400 evacuated persons and another 40 persons with special assistance needs (Wheelchair, walking-barriers, etc.). Our task ended at 9 PM after approximately 8 hours of work. We would like to thank again to all our helpers that dedicate their time and energy to help us secure a better, safer future.
