Atelier Mon plays with perfectly faceted and imperfectly natural, custom cut gemstones, blending them into precious metal plating.
Founded in 2012 by Monica Sharma, Atelier Mon is building a beguiling new visual vocabulary for precious and semi precious gemstones. Born in India, to a Swedish mother and an Indian father, Monica, was exposed to global fashion and trends from a young age. After her Graduation, she decided that her forte lay in designing. Possessing an innate appreciation of beautiful things, and inspired by Indian artisans, she launched her own business, designing jewellery, manufacturing and exporting it. The Head Office and Design Center are all in New Delhi with the factory in the jewellery capital city of Jaipur. Due to her extensive travels abroad and international exposure, Monica could naturally assimilate the design language of both the east and the west. She has been designing bespoke for private labels around the world and her designs are sold in cult boutiques and prestigious stores.
Atelier Mon is Monica's attempt to create her own distinct brand of sparkling exclusive luxury jewellery. Its launch in 2012 was testimony to her belief and philosophy that she was creating pieces that bespoke beauty and fun and were both contemporary and classic. A member of the Fashion Design Council of India, Monica's 'Atelier Mon' designs are currently retailed in numerous stores in the USA, UK, Japan, China, Jakarta and a few exclusive couture stores in India.
