Coffee island Ayia Napa   Cyprus  Since 1999 until today!

In 1999, love for coffee inspired us to open a traditional coffee shop…with a modern aspect in the centre of Patras. An alternative suggestion that from the very beginning attracted everyone that takes coffee…seriously. The first Coffee Island became an integral part of the neighbourhood and local culture.Since then, it gives coffee lovers the opportunity to enjoy a great range of new blends as well as various useful items to prepare a tasty and excellent quality coffee. Today, the public response is translated into figures. You should just consider the fact that our network lists 219 stores in Greece and abroad. At the same time, we set new goals to expand the Coffee Island network in Romania, besides the first store that operates in the city of Timisoara since August 2012, as well as in Albania, Bulgaria, the United Kingdom and other non-European countries. Responding to our customers’ and partners’ call, we have adopted a new visual identity (logo redesign and packaging), a modern communicative profile and a new architectural concept in our stores. The successful cooperation with the world acknowledged and esteemed Kourkoula – Kokkinou architects has turned Coffee Island stores into cosy meeting places.

Turning points on our journey
2006 We make the decision to establish our own production unit for the production and processing of coffee, investing in equipment and expertise mainly from Italy.


2009 We become active abroad with the opening of the first Coffee Island store in Nicosia. Within three years we have managed to create a strong branch network in Cyprus, which is continuously expanding, numbering 27 stores until now.

2010 We totally renovate our stores and incorporate coffee-on the-go services, adopting the current concept that combines the warmth of a traditional coffee shop with the atmosphere of a modern espresso bar. This innovative shift in our course has satisfied the current needs of our customers, who deeply appreciate our dedication to excellence.

2012 We establish two ultra-modern units for processing and packaging coffee in the area of Patras and expand our warehouse facilities. Investing in engineering equipment gives us the opportunity to ensure the best quality under the given increase in production, resulting from the continuous growth of our branch network.

2013 – 2014 We keep growing, constantly expanding our network.
