International guitar competition, classical guitar masterclasses, chamber music, classical guitar concerts, guitar orchestra, jazz workshops, jazz concerts Zagreb Guitar Festival brings together guitar players of all kinds, primary and secondary music school students, university students, professors and other guitar lovers all over the world. Throughout the festival's days participants are able to attend the exceptional quality masterclassses, workshops, lectures, concerts and an exhibition of guitars and guitar accessories. In the afternoons, a workshop of orchestral music and a workshop of jazz & world music will be held for all participants of the festival (included in fees) and the evenings are reserved for the amazing classical and jazz music concerts.
Participants of the Festival, both active and passive ones, can choose from a wide range of programs that ZGF offers (included in fees), so they can organize their own day at the festival.
The starting point of the festival is that through education, music and socializing with each other, each participant of the festival feels like an indispensable part of a major project. Rich content of the festival and a large selection of activities are caused by the desire that every guitarist feels invited to this manifestation and to mutually motivate and positively influence one another. The quality of the festival guarantees top lecturers, members of the jury and performers!
Zagreb Guitar Festival stručna je manifestacija koja u glavnom gradu Hrvatske okuplja ljubitelje klasične i jazz glazbe, gitariste svih profila; učenike, studente, profesore te renomirane goste – predavače, članove žirija i koncert majstore.
Uz međunarodno natjecanje iz klasične gitare, festival sadrži i veliki broj dodatnih događanja – velik izbor masterclassova i predavanja te zajedničko muziciranje u Orkestru Zagreb Guitar Festivala.
Večernji sati rezervirani su za vrhunske koncerte klasične glazbe, a zatim ugodno druženje i uživanje u jazz glazbi.
Bogat sadržaj festivala i veliki izbor aktivnosti rezultat je želje da okupimo širok spektar gitarista koji se kroz glazbu međusobno motiviraju i pozitivno utječu jedni na druge.

The winner of VI. category of #ZGF2017 international guitar competition was Marko Topchii. Marko was born to a family of musicians in Kyiv, Ukraine and has started studying #guitar at the age of four. He has already won more than 80 awards worldwide in the international guitar competitions in the professional category. He is a D'Addario Strings and Planet Waves artist since 2012. He actively performs around the world, regularly gives concerts with the orchestra. As a winner of ZGF guitar competition he has received a free CD production opportunity by Croatia Records, a brand new guitar by Guitar Kapok and a cash prize by Barcaffe. Congratulations once more! --- Pobjednik VI. kategorije 3. međunarodnog gitarističkog natjecanja ZGF-a bio je Marko Topchii. Marko je rođen u obitelji glazbenika u Kijevu, Ukrajina, i počeo je studirati gitaru sa četri godine. Osvojio je više od 80 nagrada diljem svijeta na međunarodnim gitarističkim natjecanjima u profesionalnoj kategoriji. D'Addario umetnik je od 2012. Aktivno nastupa po svijeu te redovito koncertira u orkestarama. Kao pobjednik 23 Zagreb Guitar Festivala dobio je besplatnu produkciju u Ante Gelo studiju, izdavanje CD-a od Croatia Recordsa, novu gitaru Guitar Kapok i novčanu nagradu. Čestitamo još jednom!
