07.12.2017. - Završena prva faza uređenja komunalne lučice Batala Jučer je u Dubrovniku održana svečanost povodom završetka 12 milijuna kuna vrijednih radova na prvoj fazi uređenja komunalne lučice Batala. 23.11.2017 - New contract with the Port Authority of Šibenik Knin County was signed The Port Authority of Šibenik Knin County continues the project for the construction of the Vrnaža utility port. We are currently working on the renovation of the northern part of the harbor, where along the coastal wall will be installed new breakwater and pontoons for mooring boats. The new contract includes works on the production and installation of piers B and C with associated anchoring systems. Value of the works is about 1.9 million kuna and we plan to manufacture all pontoon elements by the end of this year.

17.11.2017. - Marinetek at METS From 13th till 16th of November, in Amsterdam was held one of the largest and most significant nautical fairs in the world - Marine Equipment Trade Show (METS). This year, METS celebrated its 30th anniversary, 1552 exhibitors participated and 16,307 visitors was registrated, thus enabling even more international affairs than previous years. This three-day event has been accompanied by a number of important conferences on topics from the super-yacht sector, sustainability of recreational nautics, design and construction of vessels and the marine sector. The large Marinetek Group stand at the Marina & Yard Pavilion was certainly one of the most visited places on the fair. Marinetek has used the opportunity to meet and network business partners, exchange ideas and realize concrete jobs for planned projects in Cyprus and Montenegro, as well as expanding activities into some new markets.

10.11.2017. – Production of pontoons for Marina Trogir At the beginning of the month we started producing breakwater pontoons for the formation of two new piers in Marina Trogir. It is planned that the production of all 8 breakwater elements will be completed by Christmas holidays. Tugging of pontoons with all equipment will be in January when also anchoring will take place. Anchoring system for pontoon piers will be provided with Seaflex and the boat mooring on both sides of the pontoon pier, with a standard quarter-way system.

20/10/2017. - Participation at the Biograd Boat Show 19th Biograd Boat Show was officially opened in Marina Kornati. This is the largest autumn nautical fair in the region with 300 registered exhibitors and 300 vessels. The BBS has developed into a central European fair at the sea, and the key of the fair is the unique atmosphere of Biograd and its facilities including Marina Kornati, Ilirija hotels and restaurants. Marinetek is already a permanent exhibitor at BBS so this year we can confirm that we have recorded a large number of business meetings, both with old and potential customers, and opened up opportunities for future business cooperation.

16/10/2017. - Works in bay Vrnaža Marinetek is working on the construction of a floating breakwater pier, which is the second phase of construction of the Vrnaža utility harbor in Šibenik on its northern coast. The first phase of the construction of this utility port was completed before the summer season, when it was built and arranged about 300 meters of new waterfront on the south side of the bay, with dry berths and parking, a breakwater pontoon pier and five floating pontoon piers. The second phase of the project involves the construction of a concrete coastal wall along the northern side of the bay, and the installation of a new floating breakwater pier in a total length of 92 meters. In the forthcoming phases, the north coast and service zone is planned, as well as the construction and anchoring of seven floating pontoon piers.

11.10.2017. – Delivery of pontoons fro Dubrovnik, Batala During September and October we successfully delivered 450 meters of pontoons for the formation of 3 pontoon piers (C, D and E) and 1 breakwater pier at Gruž Bay in Dubrovnik. With that works a complete supply for the construction of the Batala municipal port is completed. The final installation of piers and anchor systems for boats will be completed by the beginning of November. The contract for works on the construction and installation of the pontoons with the Port Authority Šibenik, was signed at the beginning of May 2017 and the value of the total works is HRK 8.45 million. We have also carried out work on the expansion of a small access road to the pier, with steel frame which is covered with wood which greatly influenced in better appearance of this part of the harbor. Additional access ramps have been installed as a temporary solution for access to the piers that are far from the existing shore. This provisional solution has proved to be the best, until the extension of that part of the coast which is planned in the coming years.

09.10.2017.- Marinetek NCP signed a new contract with SCT With the signing of a new agreement with Service Center Trogir, we continue to cooperate and supply works and installation of floating piers in Marina Trogir. This is the third phase scheduled to be completed by March 2018, and will include the construction and installation of 8 breakwater elements type M3816BRS to form two floating (A8 and A9) piers in total length of 128 m. With the new piers it will be formed new 50 berths for standard charter vessels, with all necessary facilities and services that this top class marina offers to its customers.

At the beginnig of May, director of County Port Authority of Dubrovnik, Mr Željko Dadić and director of Marinetek NCP, Mr Boris Miškić, signed a contract for the execution of works on the construction and installation of pontoons in Batala Municipal Harbor, worth approx. HRK 8.45 million. The contract was preceded by obtaining a location and building permits, as well as the Environmental Impact Study, and the public procurement that was finally completed by selecting Marinetek NCP as a Contractor. Marinetek NCP will deliver and install 4 breakwaters and 39 Heavy Duty pontons elements. On the breakwater and on 5 inner floating piers of total length of 601 meters, its berth will get about 500 boats. For anchoring piers, the elastic anchor elements of the Swedish manufacturer Seaflex will be used, as Marinetek has already used them in several nautical ports in our part of the Adriatic, Cyprus, Monaco and Montenegro.

After another successful season, completed projects for the construction of the new ACI marina in Slano, the second phase of the reconstruction of Marina Kornati in Biograd, and the construction of utility harbors in Pula, Kraljevica and Šibenik, Marinetek NCP received another significant award for its successful work. During the IV Regional Summit of Entrepreneurs from Central and South-Eastern Europe, held in Dubrovnik from 10 to 12 March 2017. Marinetek NCP received a special award for 'Century Creators' 2016, for contributing to the development of entrepreneurship in Central and South-Eastern Europe. The acknowledgments of the "Century Creators" are of particular significance as in the process of proposing and nominating participate can only the colleagues entrepreneurs and former laureates, and the international jury that decides on the winners is made up of recognized and proven experts from the business and academia community.
