The British School of Beijing, Sanlitun is one of the 13 inaugural Nord Anglia Education schools which will collaborate with Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) to enhance science, technology, engineering, arts and maths (STEAM) teaching and learning for K-12 students in the 2016/17 academic year.

Years 5 and 6 Residentials
Last week was a very exciting week for the children in Years 5 and 6 as they spent a week out on school on their residentials. Year 5 went to Xi’an and Year 6 went to Inner Mongolia.
Year 2 Sleepover
Last Friday, the Year 2 children spent the night at school! After a fun day of learning, the children went home to pack their bags with a toothbrush, sleeping bag and cuddly toy, and then returned to school for the annual Year 2 sleepover.
Splash Day in Reception!!!
As a special end of year treat, the Reception classes had their splash day!
Wonderful Talent Show
After many months of nervous auditions, painstaking practise and many musical play-dates, we finally reached the finale of the annual talent competition Sanlitun’s Got Talent. This year’s final lineup was extremely varied and well represented by both Key Stages.
A Spectacular Early Years Performance!
The children worked very hard to put on a great show for their families. They were all so very enthusiastic and eager to perform their little songs and worked hard during rehearsals to make sure everything was ready for it.
Year 3 Travelling to Tianjin
Last week, the moment all of the children had been waiting for finally arrived…it was time for their residential to Tianjin!
Space Day in Reception
Today the children looked OUT OF THIS WORLD in their space costumes to celebrate the end of our fantastic topic Space.
Perfect Year 1 Production!
All the hard work from children and staff paid off yesterday as Year One blew their parents away with an amazing performance of Jack and the Beanstalk.
Community Garden Challenge!
It was so lovely to see all the Early Years children working together from the oldest Reception children to the tiny Tadpoles – we think you’ll agree they did an amazing job!
FOBISIA 2016
Once again BSB Sanlitun returned back to Beijing with medals strung around their necks jingling and jangling all the way home from a very successful Primary FOBISIA Games.
