Willow Way Farm is a Quarter Horse farm that will be the new home of Shauna MacLean Performance Horses. Finally, our life long dream has become a reality.  We recently purchased 68 picturesque acres of farmland including a lovely house, horse barn and an indoor riding arena in the quaint village of Bamberg, Ontario, just minutes from Kitchener/Waterloo.  Now the fun begins.  Over the summer, a major renovation will begin to the barn, stalls, fencing and paddocks.  Our plan is to enhance the existing barn and indoor arena to bring it up to the standard of a first rate Quarter Horse training facility.  There will be an extension added on to the existing barn to include new well lit aisles and stalls with rubber mats and automatic water and a second 200 x 84 foot indoor riding arena in addition to the existing 104 x 60 foot indoor arena.  With a total of 25 stalls, existing stalls will get a major facelift with an addition of mare and foal stalls and quarantine stall. The new arena will have a spacious heated viewing lounge and there will be two new indoor warm water wash stalls.  As our renovation begins, we will be posting a photo journal of the ongoing renovations to Willow Way Farm so please check for updates.

We would also like to take this opportunity to proudly announce that Ms. Shauna MacLean will be relocating from Prince Edward Island to become the on site trainer/manager of Willow Way Farm operating Shauna MacLean Performance Horses.  She will be offering training, coaching, showing, clinics and lessons.  Shauna has over twenty years of experience and success in the show pen.  Her list of accomplishments includes training superior Western Pleasure horses; a Novice World Western Pleasure Champion, AQHA World Show qualifiers in Western Pleasure, Horsemanship and Showmanship; top ten National Year End Western Pleasure and Performance Halter horse; third place Two Year Old Hunter Under Saddle horse at the All American Quarter Horse Congress; multiple Circuit Champions.

We also want to welcome "Simone" to Willow Way Farm. We would like to thank Rod Jeffries for selling us this great mare and Andrew Dewar for helping to arrange the sale. Simone will be serving double duty giving lessons and having babies! She is by Zippo Jack Bar and out of a Sonny Dee Bar mare. She is so sweet and settling in very well. Now to pick out the stallion......

Welcome

Check out our website willowwayfarm.com. We just updated our renovations blog. The gang at Post Farm Construction has been really working hard! We've moved into the new feed room and two new tack rooms to make space for 5 new horses expected over the next couple of weeks. We are expecting our first load of bulk shavings Monday as our new covered shavings storage is done. (The cement floor is literally drying right now). The upstairs viewing area is also coming along nicely.
